The Dutch Foreign Ministry has updated its travel advisory for Turkey ahead of events marking the anniversary of the July 15, 2016 coup attempt.
The ministry advised Dutch citizens to exercise caution across the country and avoid crowded squares and large public gatherings.
It said government-organized commemorations could lead to unrest or violence.
