Five years have passed since Turkey’s 2016 coup attempt, the most significant turning point in the country’s recent history. Using the events of that night as justification, the country’s regime was changed. Almost all questions regarding what happened before and after the event remain unanswered. Exiled journalists, who were forced to leave their country due to the suspension of the rule of law, have prepared the documentary ‘Orkoz’ to find answers to these questions and challenge the official narrative of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).
